On the road at the Stade du Grand Clos to face Saint-Pryvé Saint-Hilaire during the 27th day of the French National 2 soccer championship, FC Rouen, in group A, got the better of its opponent of the day with a score of two goals to one. The Red Devils have won their third game in a row and their eighth game without defeat.

After two months without any defeat, FC Rouen, confirmed on Saturday its good form of the moment by disposing of Saint-Pryvé Saint-Hilaire within the framework of the twenty-seventh of National 2, synonymous with the fourth division in France, thanks to a high quality performance of the young Haitian of 22 years, Mondy Prunier, scorer and decisive passer in this match.

After only 15 minutes of play, the visitors opened the score through Nicolas Barthélémy, author of a powerful shot under the crossbar of the opponent’s goal following a good service of Mondy Prunier, the goalkeeper Charles Chatelin could do nothing but notice the damage. The Normans went back to the locker room with a one goal lead.

In the second act, the deal changed very early, the team of Saint – Pryvé Saint-Hilaire equalized by Mathis Cherchour on a shot of Fabrice Seidou badly pushed back by Jeffrey Baltus. In the 66th minute, Mondy Prunier, author of an accomplished performance, gave the victory to FC Rouen by beating the last defender with a hook to bring his total of goals to 8 this season. The score remained unchanged until the end of regulation time.

Mondy Prunier was replaced by his compatriot Gamaël Dorvil in the 74th minute. The two players have not yet played together this season.

With this victory, FC Rouen climbs to the fifth place of the ranking ex-aequo with its next opponent in championship, the team of Blois Foot 41, 4th.
