One week before its entry in the Caribbean Champion Clubs Championship, Violette AC left Port-au-Prince on Friday for the Dominican Republic, with a strong delegation of 31 people including 21 players.

After several days of preparations at the Ranch of Croix-des-Bouquets, the Dean of Haitian clubs left this Friday, May 6, 2022 the Haitian capital to move to the neighboring Republic with a delegation consisting of 21 players and 10 members of the technical staff. This trip is part of the CFU Championship 2022 where the Vieux Tigre is housed in Group A along with FC Cibao (Rep. Dom.) and Cavalier SC of Jamaica.

Quarter-finalists in the first edition of the Amani-Y Super Cup, the CAV will start the competition against Cibao FC to mark its return to the Caribbean scene. For this tournament, the coach Rony Attimy has called 21 players.

All the 31 members of the delegation of the Violette AC are tested negative to the coronavirus after having carried out the first PCR test required by the Concacaf.
