Fighting for a place in the D1 Arkema, Roseline Eloisaint’s FC Nantes gave a real beating to VGA Saint-Maur’s team by winning easily with a score of four goals to nil, this Sunday, May 8, 2022, on the occasion of the twenty-first day of the French women’s second division championship.
In demonstration this Sunday within the framework of its campaign for a place in D1 Arkema next season, in the group A, the Canaries, conscious that they do not have any more right to the error, pulverized the team of VGA Saint-Maur on the score without appeal of four goals to zero. This allows them to stay 1 point behind the leader, Le Havre AC.
The Nantes scored by Hillary Diaz ( 31′ , 1-0 ) and Anaelle Le Moguedec at the end of the first period (41′ , 2-0). The rate was the same in the second half with the grenadière Roseline Eloissaint, scorer at the 51st before Anaelle Le Moguedec signs her personal double (69′ ,4-0)
Second in the ranking with 47 points, the Nantes girls will need a victory combined with a defeat or a draw of the team from Le Havre, 48 points, during the last day, to reach the D1 Arkema next season.
For the last day, Saturday May 22 at 9 AM, Nantes will be away from Lens, while Le Havre AC will play in its home ground against the women’s club Vendenheim at 9 AM.
