Maccabi Haifa was defeated (0-1) in a pre-season friendly match by KV Mechelen this Saturday at AFAS stadium. A week after his arrival at the club, Frantzdy Pierrot was a starter and played 60 minutes in the defeat of his team.
Maccabi Haifa arrived in Belgium to face KV Mechelen in a preparatory match, and suffered the law of the Jupiler Pro League (D1) club. The Israeli champion was defeated by a small goal to zero (1-0). Next Tuesday, Maccabi Haifa will play its last pre-season game against Carlens Arcus’ new club, Vitesse Arnhem, before starting its season in the final of the Israeli Super Cup against Hapoel Bee’r Sheva on Saturday, July 16 at 1:30 pm.
