The American University of Modern Sciences of Haiti (Unasmoh) won the title of champion of the Inter-university championship of soccer organized by the Haitian Federation of University Sports (FEHSU), by beating in the final this Wednesday Info World University (IWU) on the strict minimum (1-0), at the park Sainte-Claire of Petite-place-Cazeau. This is its seventh title, including a fourth consecutive one in the university soccer.
At the end of a very rhythmic game and animated by many physical engagements, the formation of Unasmoh dominated the team of IWU (1-0) in the final of the Inter-university championship, organized by the FEHSU in the park Sainte Claire of Petite-place Cazeau. The team coached by Yvelon Fontilmé just garnished its trophy cabinet with a seventh championship title, the fourth in a row. Only one goal was scored in this match and it was the work of Mackendy Emilcar on an offer in the back of the opponent’s defense of Wesley Salomon (23′, 1-0). The first 45 minutes ended with this advantage for Unasmoh.
After the break, despite the efforts of both sides, the score will not change. Unasmoh thus imposed itself and accomplished its mission. The six-time champion began the tournament with a victory (3-1) over the University of Technology of Haiti (Unitech) and closed it with a win of one goal to zero against IWU, a team it had already met in the group stage (1-1).
Note that Yvelon Fontilmé has just won his fourth championship title with Unasmoh as coach.
