FC Forge had no trouble defeating Pacific FC 3-0 in front of their home crowd on Sunday in the eleventh round of the Canadian Premier League. The Haitian international defender, Garven-Michée Metusala, injured since last May, was not present on the game sheet.
FC Forge came out on top in a hard-fought 3-0 win over Pacific FC at Tim Hortons Stadium in Canada’s premier football league, making it three wins in a row.
Bobby Smyrniotis’s side were merciless in their pursuit of a third straight win, with Ashtone Wayne Henry Morgan (11′, 1-0) and Tristan Borges (13′, 2-0) scoring twice in less than 15 minutes. The Canadian player of Haitian origin, Woobens Pacius, who provided the assist for the opening goal, became the scorer in the second half, scoring his team’s third and final goal from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute (3-0).
With 14 points, the winners of the day are fourth, four points behind leaders Pacific FC. However, FC Forge have three games in hand. Garven-Michée Metusala’s teammates will play HFX Wanderers at 2pm on Sunday 19 June 2022.
