In the second semi-final between Cibao FC and Atletico Vega Real, Herold Charles Jr. scored the only goal of the game, giving the qualification to Cibao FC.

This Thursday, May 19, in the 100% Dominican duel counting for the semi-finals of the 24th and last edition of the CFU Championship, Cibao FC qualified for the grand final and will join Violette AC which it had beaten 3-0 in the group stage.

The Haitian international midfielder Hérold Charles Jr. scored the only goal of the game in the 11th minute of play, with a diving header, allowing his team to qualify for the grand final against Violette AC, which he had already met on his way during the group stage with Cibao FC as the big winner (3-0)

Cibao will face in the final Violette AC on Sunday evening at 8 pm, a match with the appearance of revenge for the protégés of Rony Attimy.
