After a heavy defeat (3-0) against Cibao FC and a victory (3-2) against Cavalier SC in the Caribbean Championship of Champion Clubs, Violette AC does not have its destiny in hand because its qualification depends on a draw or a victory of Cibao FC against Cavalier SC, this Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Cibao stadium of Santiago at 5 pm.

With three points and a goal difference of -2, the task looks a little difficult for the Old Tiger, who does not have all his cards in hand and could not qualify for the next round of the CFU Championship if Cavalier SC beats Cibao this afternoon in the last game of Group A.

The Haitian club, coached by Rony Attimy, is not at all in control of its destiny, despite the head-to-head win against SC Cavalier last Sunday and must absolutely hope that the latter makes a draw or a defeat to seal its qualification.

Should they qualify for the semifinals, Violette AC will face the top seed in Group B on Thursday, May 19.
