Facing FC Jeremie, for its second game in Group C in the first edition of the Cup of the Grand Sud, Juventus FC des Cayes recorded this Sunday its first victory of the competition, with a score of three goals to zero at the park Mister Henry Isaac. After this success, the Solo team takes provisionally the lead of its group.
In a game clearly within their reach, the Cayens of Juventus quickly took control by scoring two goals in the first half to concretize their domination. Thanks to Jean Max Guerrier and James Thiagène, Zacharie Gustave’s team went back to the locker room with a two goal lead.
As soon as they returned from the locker room, the Cayenne team tripled the stake thanks to its fetish striker, Woosberson Buteau, author of his 2nd goal in the tournament. With four points in 2 days, Juventus FC des Cayes is provisionally leader of group C. Jérémie FC, for its part, remains the bottom of the table with 0 points and a difference of 6.
For its last game in the group phase, Juventus des Cayes will play on May 8 against FC Apach, another Cayenne formation.
