This Thursday in the quarterfinals of the first edition of the Coupe du Grand Sud, the Chantalais came to the end of the team of the Rangers of Miragoâne in the penalty shootout (4-2) after having drawn (1-1).

In the second quarter-final of the Grand Sud Cup, FC Rangers of Miragoâne and FC Chantal faced each other this Thursday at Mister Henry Isaac Park for a place in the semi-finals. We had to wait for the penalty shootout to know the winner. And it’s Chantal FC, who got the better of his opponent (4 t.a.b to 2) after a draw of one goal each in regulation time. Richardson Saint-Vil opened the score for the Miragoanese team in the first half while Absolu Muscadin scored the Chantalais goal in the second half.

After its qualification in penalty kicks, FC Chantal joins the last four of the Grand Sud championship. The semi-finalists will know their opponent after a draw.

For now, America FC des Cayes and FC Chantal are qualified for the last four while waiting for the games Juventus FC – Camp Perrin FC, AS Cavaly – Apaches FC des Cayes, scheduled respectively on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 at the Park Mister Henry Isaac in Croix des Martyrs (Cayes).
