If in the Bundesliga in Germany, in the Ligue 1 in France and in La Liga in Spain the final verdict is already delivered, it is quite the opposite in the English Premier League and the Italian Serie A where the race for the title still seems very tight. In England, it is between Manchester City (83 pts) and its runner-up Liverpool (82 pts), with four days to go. These two giants of English soccer, offer us a fierce struggle, a duel without mercy and no let go so far.
It’s the same in Italy, in the A series, between AC Milan (77 pts) and Inter (75), with three days to go.

In England, the final sprint between the citizens and the liverpuldians seems even more exciting since these two formations have the possibility to meet in the final of the Champions League, if however the results of the matches of the semi-final first leg (4-3/2-0) are not reversed.

The English clubs have a slight advantage over the Spanish clubs: Real Madrid and Villareal. Unless a miracle happens, we can have a 100% English final, as in the 2020-2021 season between Chelsea and the same Manchester City. But, as this Real Madrid team is accustomed this season to a series of “remontadas”, we must wait for the result of its return match on Wednesday, May 4 at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Spain.

Villarreal FC, whose situation seems more complicated with its two goals to recover against Liverpool, is not abdicated to the tactical intelligence of its coach Unai Emery, who is used to manage well the results of the games in European competitions, during the last years.
