Grenadier Andrew Jean-Baptiste played the entire game in the center of the Valour FC defense.
Valour FC played HFX Wanderers on Sunday and were able to hold on for a win at Investors Group Field in a hard-fought game in which neither team was able to gain an advantage in the first half.
In the second half, with the game headed for a scoreless draw, the home team decided otherwise. And it was young New Zealand midfielder Moses John Dyer who scored the only goal of the game for FC Valour with 6 minutes left. After this late goal, the player was named man of the match.
This victory allows FC Valour to climb to the 5th place with 19 points, overtaking their opponent with 17 points. Next Sunday, July 17 at 3 pm, FC Valour will travel to Ottawa to challenge the current second best team in the Canadian Premier League, the club Atletico.
