By defeating CS Emelec on Tuesday night, Sociedad Deportiva Aucas dictated its law to Club Sport Emelec and qualified for the quarterfinals. The men of César Farías won with a score of 2-0. Ricardo Adé played the whole game and was named man of the match.

Facing one of the best teams of the country in the round of 16 of the Copa Ecuador, El Papá Aucas validated this Tuesday night its ticket to the quarterfinals of this competition by winning at the Estadio George Capwel (Guayaquil) with a score of two to zero against CS Emelec. The club from Quito came out on top thanks to the goals of Daniel Isaias Segura Gonzalez (14, 0-1) and Sergio Daniel Lopez in the extra time (90+4). In the quarterfinals, Ricardo Adé and his team will play on August 4 against 9 Octubre.

Playing the whole game, the Haitian international defender Roc made a correct game. Clean and fair in the duels, he was named man of the match.
