For its last game of the 2021-2022 season, Quevilly RM finished in a very good way the Ligue 2 BKT with a 3-1 victory over USL Dunkerque, Saturday May 14, after a complicated start. A victory of confidence that allows him to approach the play-offs serenely.

After only 15 minutes of play, the Quévillais conceded the opening goal on a goal of Lilal Brahimi. But they showed character by coming back quickly in the game with Duckens Moïse Nazon (28′ , 1-1 ) before adding two other goals in the second half respectively by Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly (69′, 2-1) and Florian Jozefzoon (76′, 3-1) to bring USL Dunkerque to its knees. A very good omen for Duckens Nazon’s teammates who already have their eyes riveted on the Ligue 2 / National playoff matches, one year after their accession in Ligue 2.

Finished in 18th place with 40 points, Quevilly Rouen Métropole will play against Villefranche Beaujolais (3rd in National) in a two-legged match on Tuesday, May 24 at 1 pm and Sunday, May 29 at 10 am.

FC Villefranche Beaujolais will host the first match at the Armant – Chouffet stadium and the return match will take place at the Robert Diochon stadium.
