Wieczysta Kraków (D4) won on penalties against Poprad Muszyna in the semi-finals of the Polish regional cup on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, after a match full of surprises.
In a crazy game, the team of Wieczysta Kraków (D4) of the grenadier Wilde Donald Guerrier managed to take out the formation of Poprad Muszyna (D4) in the quarterfinals of the Polish soccer cup, this Wednesday at the regional level, by winning on penalties (4-3), regulation time (4-4).

At home, Krakow started the game with a good rhythm against an opponent full of character. Wieczysta Kraków started the hostilities with goals from Sławomir Peszko (25′, 1-0) and Maciej Jankowski a minute later, bringing the score to 2-0 before Dawid Dyląg gave Poprad Muszyna hope at the very end of the first half ( 1-2, 41′).
In the second half, the visitors, very dangerous on the counter-attack, found their efficiency thanks to a great Sylwester Torquaz who put the two teams back on level terms (2-2, 56′). Maciej Jankowski (58′, 3-2) and Maksymilian Hebel (67′, 4-2) thought they had delivered Wieczysta Kraków but Propad Muszyna’s team had a different opinion, coming back in the game thanks to two more goals (69th, 77th) from their striker Sylwester Torkaz, author of an incredible performance. Despite opportunities to win on both sides, the score would not change and the game director, Mr. Sebastian Wisniowski, invited both teams to extra time.
During the 30 minutes of overtime, despite a slight domination in favor of Propad Muszyna, the score remained unchanged. It took the fateful penalty shootout to decide the fate of the match. These penalty shootouts allowed Siryk the Wieczysta keeper to show his worth, the latter having saved Waczyński’s penalty to give the victory to the teammates of Wilde Donald Guerrier (4-3) , who was replaced in the 27th minute of play by Bąk.
In the semifinals, Franciszek Smuda’s men will play against Podhale Nowy Targ from the third division.
