As part of its pre-season preparation, Racing Club Strasbourg Alsace beat FC Sion of Switzerland (2-1) this Saturday at the Divonne-les-Bains Complex. This is its first test of the summer. Grenadier Dany Jean played one half, while Jean Ricner Bellegarde, scorer, played the second half of the game.
Engaged in a tour of Switzerland since July 3, the team led by technician Julien Stephan opened its parenthesis of friendly games of preparation with a stunning victory at the expense of the formation of FC Sion (2-1) this Saturday on the lawn of the Complex Divonne-les-Bains.
Leading at the break after the opening goal of the young Brazilian midfielder of 22 years, Baltazar Costa Rodrigues De Oliveira alias Batata, shortly after the second quarter of the game (1-0), the boarders of Ligue 1 have tried everything without managing to score. At the end of the second half, the blue and white team changed their mind to go for the victory, thanks to two goals in a row by Nordine Kandil (64′) and the Franco-Haitian Jean Ricner Bellegarde (65′), the latter having scored on a beautiful free kick a few minutes after his entry. The match ended with a one-goal victory for Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace (1-2).
The talented young Haitian goalkeeper, Alexandre Pierre, was one of the four goalkeepers called up for the game and watched the whole game from the bench.
The next game of RCSA will be against FC Basel on Tuesday, July 12 at 11:30 am.
