Indy Eleven’s poor run of form continues in the league. “The Boys in blue” recorded their third consecutive defeat on Saturday against Miami FC, in the match of the eighteenth day of the United Soccer League Championship, Eastern Conference, played at Michael Caroll Stadium.

Indy Eleven is no longer moving forward. Mark Lowry’s men, who were on a three-game winless streak, including two consecutive losses in the United Soccer League Championship, Eastern Conference, lost by the narrowest of margins at home to Miami FC on Matchday 18 after a scoreless first half.

In the second half, the players in blue held on for a dozen minutes before paying for the visitors’ aggressiveness. And in the 58th minute, before the hour mark, Joshua Giovanni Perez, with his left foot, gave FC Miami the win, following an offer from Jamaican player, Lamar Oneal Walker. Thus, until the final whistle, the score remained unchanged. Note also the red card received by Manuel Arteaga, player of Indy Eleven (90+4). Mechack Jerome played every minute of the game.

After 4 games without knowing the taste of success, Indy Eleven still keeps the 8th place in the ranking with 21 points, ahead of its opponent of the evening, 27 points, 7th. Mechack Jerome and his comrades will be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the Highmark Stadium to challenge Riverhounds on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 7pm.
