After a very crazy game, Indy Eleven did not do the job on the road for its sixteenth game in the United Soccer League Championship and lost to Colorado Springs (3-4). Haitian international defender Mechack Jerome was at the heart of the Indy Eleven defense and played every minute of the game.

When Indy Eleven entered Weidner Field on Saturday night to play their 16th game in the United Soccer League Championship against Western Conference leader Colorado Springs, the Eastern Conference side bit the dust away from home (3-4).

Mechack Jerome’s teammates conceded the first goal of the match, scored by Michee Ngalina (17′, 1-0) before coming back to the score a few minutes later through Manuel Alejandro Arteaga Rubianes (28′, 1-1). At the end of the first half, the players of Colorado Springs regained the advantage via Hadji Ibrahim Barry on penalty (45+1, 2-1). Score on which both teams will join the locker room.

In the second half, the Indy Eleven team equalized at the 63rd by Raul Aguilera Jr (2-2). But in less than ten minutes, Colorado Springs logically took the lead with goals from Zachary
Zandi (66′, 3-2) and Michee Ngalina (69′, 4-2) for his personal double. The visitors managed to save the honor on a late goal by Manuel Alejandro Arteaga Rubianes (90+6 , 3-4), his second in the game.

After the setback, Indy Eleven is 8th in the Eastern Conference with 21 points. Colorado Springs Switchback is the leader of the Western Conference with 33 points.

For the next day, Mechack Jerome and his comrades will play away against San Diego Loyal, next Saturday at 10am Pm , while the club of Colorado Springs will host its runner-up, the team of San Antonio, on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 9am Pm
