Indy Eleven continues with its black series in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship, Eastern Conference. The club from Indianapolis lost this Wednesday night in Pittsburgh on the smallest of scores (1-0) during the nineteenth day. The Haitian defender Mechack Jerome watched the whole game on the bench.
Mark Lowry’s men held on for a long time against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds before cracking in the last 10 minutes of the game, after a score of 0-0 at halftime. And the only goal of the game was scored by the young Cameroonian Albert Dikwa Lega, who was a substitute at the start of the game. The 24-year-old scored after a service from Colombian Daniel Rovira in the 80th minute (1-0).
The teammates of Mechack Jerome have now gone five games without a win, one draw and four consecutive losses. Despite this defeat, Indy Eleven is still 8th in the Eastern Conference with 21 points and two games in hand. Their opponent of the evening is 5th with 30 points.
