For its seventeenth match in the United Soccer League Championship (USL), this Saturday, Locomotive of El Paso was hung up on Detroit City (1-1). Haitian international striker Christiano Francois played the entire second half.

On the move to Keyworth Stadium in its seventeenth outing in the United Soccer League, this Saturday afternoon, the team of Locomotive of El Paso went to take a good point in Detroit (1-1). Patricio Botello Faz, 23 minutes after the kick-off, scored the opening goal for the hosts before Erik Santana Calvillo Ramirez put the two teams back on level terms shortly after the second quarter (32′, 1-1), scoring his third goal of the season. Half-time (1-1).

Everything was played in the first half. In the second half, neither team managed to make the difference. And it is on this score of parity (1-1) that the game director whistled the end of the game.

After this draw, Locomotive of El Paso is 4th provisionally in the Western Conference with 25 points while waiting for the match San Diego vs Las Vegas Lights scheduled on Sunday evening. The Detroit City club is 4th in the Eastern Conference with 26 points.

In their next game, El Paso Locomotive will host New York Red Bulls B on Saturday June 25th at 9:30am Pm.
