A few months after announcing his international retirement, the striker Jonel Désiré will return to the Haitian soccer team. The announcement was made by his club Urartu FC, this Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

The former player of AS Mirebalais is called by Jean Jacques Pierre who convinced him to return and will be present at the next gathering of the grenadiers for the meetings of the league of nations of CONCACAF which will be held on June 4, 7, 11, and 14 respectively against Bermuda, Montserrat and English Guyana in two times.

Author of 6 goals in 27 games this season with Urartu FC in the Armenian first division, Jonel Désiré, back in the national team after 3 months of absence, will have to show his coach Jean Jacques Pierre that his call-up is not a gift but that he deserves his place in the national team.
