As announced a few days ago, the Haitian striker Frantzdy Pierrot signed this Friday, July 1, a three-year contract with an option for the Israeli club FC Maccabi Haifa from En Avant Guingamp. The club confirmed the transfer via a video posted on its social network Twitter.

After three seasons in Ligue 2 under the red and black Guingamp, Frantzdy Pierrot, author of 15 goals in 34 appearances in the year 2021-2022, has headed to Israel to sign this Friday with Maccabi Haifa FC. The Grenadian has signed a 3-year lease plus one year option for a sum of 1.6 million euros with a salary of 420,000 euros (bonus included).

Indeed, after Royal Excell Mouscron (Bel) and En Avant Guingamp (France), the 27-year-old player will know his third European club during his career. In his new club, the Grenadier will wear the same number 9 that he wore in Guingamp. With En Avant Guingamp, the native of Cap-Haitian took part in 76 games in Ligue 2 and scored 28 goals in three seasons.

Heavy for Frantzdy Pierrot. Maccabi Haifa has several serious appointments ahead of it, including the final of the Israeli Super Cup against Hapoel Be’er Sheva on July 16, then the 2nd round of qualifying for the Champions League against the Greeks of Olympiakos Piraeus on July 20 and 27, 2022 respectively at 1am and 3pm.
