The Stade de France in Paris was the scene of the final of the 67th edition of the Champions League, Saturday 28 May, where Real defeated Liverpool (1-0).
A dull match that will not remain too long in people’s minds, but important for the Madrid team that has made a stratospheric season by winning the Spanish championship and the Ldc.

Liverpool was more enterprising in the first half with Luis Diaz very visible on the flanks and a Mane’s goal ball, crushed on the post in the 21st minute of play.

In the second half, the Merengues, who quickly realized that they had to go for happiness, the cup with the big ears, for the 14th time in their history, took control of things. In the 59th minute, Federico Valverde got a good ball on the right side and sent a cross to his man Vinicius Jr. who just catapulted the ball into the net of Alisson Becker. And despite a final attempt by M.Salah at the end of the game, which was deflected by an unbeatable courtesy, Real won their 14th trophy in the history of the Ldc and confirmed their great season.
