The Oklahoma City Thunder franchise hit hard on the floor of Target Center (135-128) against Minnesota, Saturday night in the NBA regular season. A collective victory with 7 players who finished in double figures, including the Canadian basketball player of Haitian origin Luguentz Dort.

The Thunder team went to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves (135-128), Saturday night at the Target Center with a great Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, leading scorer of the game and a well organized collective. The game was tight but Luguentz Dort’s teammates showed their efficiency to win the first two quarters (32-29 , 31-28). Score at halftime : 63 to 57 for OKC.

After the break, the Timberwolves made a clean third quarter by showing themselves more dangerous with a 44-34 for a four points lead in the game (101-97). The last quarter was well controlled by Mark Daigneault’s men, who didn’t give up anything before taking over their opponent (38-27) to finally win for a difference of 7 points (135-128).

The trio Shai Gilgeous-Alexander best scorer (33 points, 6 assists, 1 rebound), Joshua Giddey (21 points, 7 assists, 12 rebounds) and Luguentz Dort (18 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds) were the most visible in OKC. On the other side, D’angelo Russell was the most efficient player with (27 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds), followed by Anthony Edwards (26 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds) and Jaylen Nowell (21 points, 2 assists, 3 rebounds). Guilty of a serious foul, the French pivot Rudy Gobert was excluded after 9 minutes of play for Minesota (6 points, 4 rebounds).

With this success, the Oklahoma City Thunder team occupies the twelfth place in the Western Conference with a record of 10-13 behind its victim of the evening, 11th with 11-12 in the same conference. OKC will travel to the State Farm Arena to take on the Atlanta Hawks this Monday at 7:30 pm.
