This Thursday, December 1, 2022, the NBA announced the names of the two basketball players elected rookies of the month of October and November. Without any surprise Bennedict Mathurin is elected in the East, while in the West, it is Jalen Williams who was chosen.
Drafted in 6th position by the Indiana Pacers, the Canadian basketball player of Haitian origin Bennedict Richard Felder Mathurin won the award of the best rookie of October and November in the East according to the NBA. And, this thanks to his very remarkable start of the season with the Pacers. The 20-year-old player posted interesting stats with 19.2 points at 43.4% including 40.3% from distance, 4 rebounds and 1.5 assists while coming off the bench.
The best rookie in the East contributed to the good form of the Pacers, with a record of 12 wins for 9 losses. Bennedict Mathurin and Jalen Williams are the first winners of the NBA rookie of the month award for the 2022-2023 season.
