By pulverizing Makedonija GP (4-0) this Thursday at home in the second preliminary round of the Europa League Conference, CSKA Sofia qualified for the next round of the competition after a 0-0 draw in the first leg. Duckens Nazon was on the bench and took the field in the 53rd minute, scoring his first goal for CSKA Sofia.

The Bulgarian club continues its path to qualification for the group stage of the second edition of the Europa League Conference. Visibly annoyed by their sad draw in the first leg (0-0), the red and white reacted in the best way by pulverizing the team of Makedonija GP (4-0) and qualified for the next round.

Driven by the crowd of the Balgarska Armija stadium, CSKA Sofia opened the score by their central defender and captain Jurgen Mattheij, who was headed in by Maurício Garcez De Jesus, following a corner. No more goals were scored in the first half and the Sofiotes returned to the locker room with this one-goal advantage.

Leading 1-0 after the first 45 minutes, Saša Ilić’s men then regaled in the second half, scoring three more goals through Georgi Yomov on a service from Serbian Lazar Tufegdžić (61′, 2-0), who then turned into a striker (78′, 3-0), then one of its summer star recruits Duckens Nazon, who scored his first goal under the red and white tunic after 3 games played, including 2 against this North Macedonian club.

In the third preliminary round, Duckens Nazon and his team will face the Irish club of St Patricks on August 4 and 11.
