By pulverizing Makedonija GP (4-0) this Thursday at home in the second preliminary round of the Europa League Conference, CSKA Sofia qualified for the next round of the competition after a 0-0 draw in the first leg. Duckens Nazon was on the bench and took the field in the 53rd minute, scoring his first goal for CSKA Sofia.
The Bulgarian club continues its path to qualification for the group stage of the second edition of the Europa League Conference. Visibly annoyed by their sad draw in the first leg (0-0), the red and white reacted in the best way by pulverizing the team of Makedonija GP (4-0) and qualified for the next round.
Driven by the crowd of the Balgarska Armija stadium, CSKA Sofia opened the score by their central defender and captain Jurgen Mattheij, who was headed in by Maurício Garcez De Jesus, following a corner. In the third preliminary round, Duckens Nazon and his team will face the Irish club of St Patricks on August 4 and 11.
