A mass of thanksgiving was sung on Monday, June 27 at the Church of St. Yves in Delmas 5, as part of the celebration of 71 years of foundation of the club of Bel-Air, nicknamed “the men of the hillock” because of its geographical position. The Reverend Father Horace Didi, principal celebrant, native of Bel-Air and General Secretary of the green and black club, denounced in his homily the situation of insecurity which shook lately the big district of Bel-Air and which deprives the people of their free circulation.
The religious leader also took the opportunity to launch a solemn appeal to the players of the Eagle so that they can assume their responsibility on the field and off the field as ambassadors of the great Bel-Air.
