In its tenth regular season appearance in the United Soccer League, El Paso Locomotive’s team earned an easy 4-0 Western Conference victory over LA Galaxy II on Saturday night.
Too strong for Los Angeles Galaxy II, in front of their home crowd, Christiano Francois’ team, El Paso Locomotive FC pulverized their opponents (4-0), folding the game in the first half with a three goal lead. John Hutchinson’s men were clearly on top, with Eric Santana Calvio Ramirez (15′), Liam Doyle (32′) and Diego Luna (38′) scoring the difference. And that was the score at halftime.
In the second half, the debates were more balanced than in the first half. In the 63rd minute, the Argentine Luis Emilio Solignac scored the fourth goal of the game and sealed the victory for his team.
Less brilliant tonight, Christiano Francois was replaced in the 63rd minute. With this victory, their third in a row and fourth in ten games, El Paso Locomotive is now in sixth place with 13 points, two points ahead of their victim in eighth. For the eleventh day, its next opponent will be Riverhouds on Saturday, May 14 at 7 pm.
