Real Santa Cruz won this Saturday at home against Oriente Petrolero. The men of David Perdiguero won in the pain (2-1) during the fifth day of the series of closing of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional de Boliviano, after having been led at the score at the end of the first part. The Haitian footballer Jayro Hestefano Jean was again illustrated by scoring the equalizer for the black and white formation.
The game took a long time to settle. At the end of the first half and in the extra time, it was the visitors who finally found the breakthrough on a kick to the goal converted by the Argentine striker Facundo Suárez (45+3, 0-1).
If the first game had ended in favor of Oriente Petrolero, the second was the opposite. Real Santa Cruz was able to reverse the trend in the last moments of the game. Early on, Haitian striker Jayro Hestefano Jean, who has been in top form in recent days, put the game back on track by equalizing on a service from Bolivian veteran Mario Alberto Ovando Padilla (47′, 1-1) before Dominican defender César Manuel García Peralta gave the victory on a penalty kick obtained in stoppage time (91′, 2-1).
After this short and important victory, Real Santa Cruz occupies provisionally the second place in the ranking with 10 points, waiting for the other matches of this day. For their sixth appointment, Real Santa Cruz will travel to Nacional Potosi. Kick-off on Tuesday 26 July at 6:15 pm.
