Thanks to a Widmack Rhau on fire, America FC des Cayes quietly defeated Empire FC with a score of 4-1, Sunday, May 29, at Mister Henry Isaac Park, in the first quarterfinal of the competition. The Cayens have earned a place in the semi-finals.

America FC won the first quarter-final of the Grand Sud Cup against Cavaillon Empire FC with a clear 4-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Mister Henry Isaac Park. The game quickly turned bad for the Cavaillonnais who had just conceded a goal a few minutes after the kickoff of the game from Clergy Ernts (1-0). And with that one-goal difference, the two teams went to the locker room.

Widmack Rhau stole the show from Clergé Ernts after the restart, scoring a hat-trick to send his team into the final four of the Big South Cup. Widmy Morné scored the only goal for the Empire. The goal that brought the score to 2-1.

After the 4-1 victory, the kòlòs of America FC are waiting to know their opponent in the semi-finals.
