For the seventeenth day of the Canadian Premier League, this Saturday, FC Forge beat FC Valour quietly on its home turf and received the three points promised to the winning team. Garven-Michée Metusala played full time, while Woobens Pacius scored a goal and was replaced after the hour mark for FC Forge. On the other side, Andrew Jean Baptiste was present in the team’s eleven and played the whole game.

The 7th goal of Moses Dyer scored in the 24th minute, had put the doubt in the camp of FC Forge. The New Zealander opened the score after a pass from Daryl Fordyce (24′,0-1). At the end of the first half, the Canadian-Haitian player Woobens Pacius, in great form, restored the balance on the scoreboard (41′,1-1). At the break, the two teams left each other with a score of 1-1.

FC Forge showed a different face when they came back on the pitch and the changes of Terran Campbell and Emery Welshman, operated by Bobby Smyrniotis, paid off as the former scored a double (67′, 94′, 3-1) and the latter was the decisive assistant. This victory allows FC Forge to take the third place with 26 points and two games in hand.

For the next game, FC Forge will travel to the ATCO stadium to face FC Cavalry on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 9:00 am. FC Valour will face Pacific at home next Saturday afternoon (3pm).
