FC Forge is eliminated this Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in the quarterfinals of the Canadian championship of soccer against CF Montreal, which beat him severely 3-0. The Haitian international defender Garven-Michée Metusala had to leave his teammates at the 24th minute after being injured.

On the road this Wednesday night for the quarterfinals of the Canadian Football Championship, FC Forge was humiliated by the club of Major League Soccer (MLS), CF Montreal who made a game more than consistent to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition.

The MLS club was able to raise the crowd of the Saputo stadium 3 times thanks to the 19-year-old Nigerian player Sunusi Ibrahim, who brilliantly illustrated himself by carrying all alone the CF Montreal thanks to a triple scored in less than an hour (14′, 22′, 49′). In the semi-final, Wilfried Nancy’s men will play against FC Toronto in the week of June 20.

Entered in place of Terran Campbell in the 67th minute of play, the appearance of the player of Haitian origin, Woobens Pacius did not bring any change in the scoreboard. At 3-0, there was nothing he could do to stop FC Forge from sinking.

After this great night, CF Montreal will return to MLS for the reception of FC Cincinnati this Saturday, May 28 at 7:30 am. FC Forge, on the other hand, will travel to Edmonton for their seventh match in the Canadian Premier League on Tuesday, May 31 at 9:00 pm.
