Saturday at the Louis II stadium for the thirty-seventh day of the French first division soccer championship (Ligue 1), AS Monaco, without surprise, corrected the Brestois stadium of Jean Kevin Duverné (4-2). A victory acquired thanks to a hat-trick of Wissam Ben Yedder. The ninth consecutive victory in the championship this season.

After a difficult start for Monaco, Stade Brestois took the opportunity to open the score through the Franco-Haitian striker Jean Kevin Duverné in the 10th minute ( 0-1 ). He was again decisive in providing the pass for the second goal to Mohamed Youcef Belaïli thirteen minutes later (23′, 2-0). However, at the end of the first half, Wissam Ben Yedder gave hope to the principality club on a penalty (44′, 1-2 ).

In the second half, the same Wissam Ben Yedder scored two new goals in three minutes to give the advantage for the first time in this match to AS Monaco (51′, 54′), author of his 22nd, 23rd and 24th goal in championship behind Killyan Mbappé, 25. The last goal of the match came shortly before the last quarter of the game through the former Bayer Leverkusen player, Kevin Volland (70′, 4-2 ) and the match ended with a score of 4-2.

After this nice victory, AS Monaco (2nd) with 68 points is now on a par with Marseille (3rd) and ahead of them for a better goal difference. Stade Brestois is eleventh with 48 points.
