In the closing game of the fourteenth day of National in France (D3), FC Versailles won in its Jean Bouin Stadium (2-0) against Club Sportif Sedan Ardennes. The victory was achieved thanks to a great performance of Mondy Prunierz, who scored a goal and an assist, allowing the team to take the second place.
After a first half lacking in scoring opportunities, the team coached by the former Brazilian defender Cris, managed to recover in the second half to take the three points of the victory, synonymous with the new runner-up of the leader Concarneau. The Haitian Mondy Prunier, who was sent through by Fabien Lemoine, opened the scoring in the 53rd minute (1-0). FC Versailles kept knocking on the door of success and got a second goal ten minutes later, again thanks to Mondy Prunier who turned into the decisive passer on Mathieu Dossevi’s magnificent shot (63′, 2-0) following a backward cross. Nothing changed on the scoreboard during the rest of the match and FC Versailles won with a score of two goals to zero.
After this success, their second in a row, FC Versailles is second with 25 points behind Concarneau 29. 13th with 17 points, CS Sedan Ardennes is in the relegation zone. The next match of the winner of the day will be against Red Star (3rd) on Friday, December 9 at 1:30 pm.
