The agreement reached years ago between the various sectors of the American sports world to pay male and female athletes the same amount of money and energy on the field, and which will be effective by 2028, will not remain without consequences. This new decision, or agreement, will undoubtedly have an impact on the other organizational structures of world soccer.

From a sporting and human perspective, it makes sense that all athletes, regardless of gender, should be paid the same, as they expend the same energy on the field of play. A national team such as the United States, which has already won 4 world cups, deserves such consideration, as it makes the United States of America the greatest national women’s team in the world, with its exceptional record of success.

The question that arises at the moment is whether such a consideration will not influence or create great animosity in the sector.
